RIGGERS: All our riggers are trained to NVQ level 3, experienced and competent, capable of rigging and slinging heavy and complicated loads, banking of cranes and installation of plant, machinery and pipework RIGGING SUPERVISOR: Is responsible for overseeing heavy lifting, hoisting, and structural rigging operations. managing rigging crews, coordinating with crane operators and other trades, ensures all activities whether on a construction site, industrial facility, or power station is executed efficiently and safely Appointed Person: Responsible for planning, organizing, and ensuring the absolute safety of all lifting operations. Under UK regulations, this competent individual must define safe systems of work, select appropriate cranes and equipment, and authorise all lifts prior to execution.
